Na manhã desta quarta-feira (15), a primeira-dama de Barueri, Sônia Furlan, visitou os moradores que foram afetados pelas fortes chuvas que atingiram o bairro Jardim Maria Helena e toda a região.
A ação foi acompanhada pelas equipes da Defesa Civil, pela Secretaria de Obras, pelo Serviço de Assistência e Desenvolvimento Social (Sads) e pelo Fundo Social de Solidariedade de Barueri. Na visita, a primeira-dama percorreu as rua do bairro, conversou com diversos moradores e ouviu as demandas da população.
Sônia Furlan destacou que a prefeitura não medirá esforços para atender toda a população e que as equipes já estão realizando a limpeza das ruas e auxiliando os moradores que sofreram com o alagamento no bairro.

Desde às 9h da manhã de hoje, quarta-feira (15), a Prefeitura de Barueri, por meio da Coordenadoria Municipal de Proteção e Defesa Civil, Secretaria de Assistência e Desenvolvimento Social e do Fundo de Solidariedade, está atendendo às famílias do Bairro Jardim Maria Helena através de um posto de atendimento. A tenda irá permanecer durante todo o dia.
