Na manhã deste sábado (25), véspera do aniversário de 74 anos de Barueri, o prefeito Rubens Furlan e o vice-prefeito Beto Piteri, inauguraram a 19ª Unidade Básica de Saúde de Barueri.
A nova unidade de saúde, localizada no bairro Jardim dos Altos, homenageia o médico Dr. Luiz Fernando Nardy Vasconcelos, que foi vítima da covid-19, onde se contaminou enquanto trabalhava cuidando de seus pacientes.
O vice-prefeito, Beto Piteri, destacou a importância da nova unidade para a rede de saúde de Barueri e para o bairro Jardim dos Altos. “É a realização de mais um compromisso anunciado pelo nosso governo para atender a demanda da população“, declarou Piteri.
O prefeito, Rubens Furlan, declarou que o governo tem trabalhado muito para proporcionar cada vez mais uma saúde e uma educação de qualidade para todos. “Não cansamos de trabalhar para que a nossa população tenha uma saúde de qualidade e que nossos jovens tenham acesso a muitas oportunidades através de uma ótima educação“, disse Furlan.

A nova UBS Dr. Luiz Fernando Nardy Vasconcelos, conta com salas de vacinação, coleta de exames, curativo, inalação, vacina, medicação, atividades em grupo, 17 consultórios (sendo dois para dentistas), farmácia, vestiários, copa, jardim, fraldário, estacionamento, duas entradas para carros e uma para pedestres.
A unidade tem dois pavimentos com 1.431 metros quadrados de área construída em terreno de 2.847 metros quadrados, na rua Cícero Borges de Moraes, em frente à Emeief Professor Eneias Raimundo da Silva e à Maternal Evelyn Mosse Barreiros.
