Na manhã desta terça-feira (21), por volta das 7h30, a Guarda Municipal de Barueri prendeu uma quadrilha que praticava roubos de cargas na região.
Através da central de monitoramento, o sistema CÓRTEX/DETECTA alarmou para dois veículos cadastrados como possíveis participantes de ocorrências de roubo de cargas no município e na região. Assim, prontamente foi informado via rádio e as equipes da GCM iniciaram o patrulhamento com vistas aos suspeitos, momento o qual a equipe que patrulhava a Av. Oscar Kesselring os avistou.

Os indivíduos na tentativa de desvencilharem do acompanhamento da GCM, adentraram a um posto de combustíveis no bairro do Jardim Belval. Cercados e abordados, os veículos Celta prata e Onix branco, estavam ocupados por 5 indivíduos, onde foi localizado uma arma de fogo Taurus, com a numeração raspada e ainda durante as consultas do veículo Onix, através do dispositivo DIV (Diagnóstico Inteligente Veicular) constatou-se, se tratar de “clone” montado sobre veículo produto de roubo em datas anteriores pelo município de Osasco.
Os indivíduos foram encaminhados ao DP Central, onde ficaram à disposição da justiça.
